Albayalde Who Cares Who Wins IV 2007 International Golf Competition

The 2007 Who Cares Who Wins Community Golf Competition was held back at Albayalde's home course, the reformed Coto de la Serena, in between the worst rain showers for many years on the Costa del Sol. The Ladies Competition had to be split into 2 x 9 holes but was eventually completed on 16^th April. Congratulations to all those who braved the weather.

This year it was a clean sweep with the Bradleys from Mesana 12 sweeping both the Gents and Ladies prizes. We'll have to change the rules next year! The prizes were presented at a celebrity champagne reception in the 'Cocktail Lounge' at Gregorio's Bar Restaurant in Villacana.

*Dave, a co-founder of the Who Cares Who Wins, presents a magnificent trophy to Malcolm who carded 62 with two birdies on the back nine.*		Tana presents Helen with a 'fistful' of decorative golf balls, plus some she can actually use! This is Helen's 2^nd successive year as Ladies Champion.

John T was the Gents runner up carding 65 in what can best be described as very 'windy' conditions!		Tana took the runner up prize for the Ladies and Helen kindly donated a pack of golf balls from her prize. She must know about Tana's golf!
		This truly magnificent trophy at left was presented to Albayalde by Dougie Munro, last year's Who Cares Who Wins Champion. It will be held by each winner for one year and re-presented annually to successive winners. The marble plinth will have a plate with the winner's name and year engraved on it to provide a lasting record of Albayalde's golfing legends. However you have to be in to win and, with the fierce competition, start your training for the 2008 Who Cares Who Wins now.............. Could this be yet another Bradley who will become the Albayalde Champion in years to come?
