Albayalde's annual International Golf Competition, the 'Who Cares Who Wins', is held around Easter each year.  Owners, residents, visitors to Albayalde, and their friends, whether Gents or Ladies, are welcome to enter this fiercely fought battle!  If you think you are up to the challenge, both on the course and in the 19^th hole afterwards, and enjoy a fun game of social golf just call (0034) 952 887350 or e-mail webmaster@albayalde.info in the month before Easter for details. 

The Albayalde Who Cares Who Wins Community social golf Competition was conceived by John Moodie and Dave Kirk during an early morning nightcap(!) in February 2004 .  The aim is for Albayaldians and their friends to have some fun trying to knock a small ball into a very small hole, and to celebrate their inevitable success in the 19^th hole afterwards. Practice is strictly frowned upon.  Sets of Ladies and Gents golf clubs are available if required.

The prestigious 'Dougie Munro Trophy' was presented to Albayalde Community after Dougie won the Who Cares Who Wins golf competition in 2006.  It is competed for annually and held by the Competition Champion for one year.  The winner's name and year are recorded on a plate mounted on the marble plinth of the trophy.  The trophy is not suitable for use as an ash tray.
